Get ready for another fantastic day on Sunday 20th  September when the top cycle riders from all over the country will descend on Tickhill’s streets for the 3rd  YESSS Tickhill Grand Prix.

From the great support and turn out of the crowds and the success of last year, the event has grown in stature and we are pleased to announce that TEAM WIGGINS are coming along to try and put their name on the prestigious Tickhill Grand Prix Trophy.

The crowds’ favorite Tanya Griffiths who won the Women’s Elite Race will be back to defend her title although this race will be contested by even more talented Riders wanting to win the £1000 1st Prize.

It is again Free Admission, so bring your friends and family and there will be a mouth-watering selection of Street Food at our Cycle Kitchen based behind the Scarborough Arms alongside a great array of merchandise & gifts and  also a chance to win £2000 worth of Family Bike Prizes thanks to YESSS ELECTRICAL.

For those with the competitive spirit, why not have a go Racing yourself to win prizes on our ‘static’ Rollapaluza bikes in the Broomwagon Challenge.

With big screens, prize giving, commentary, souvenir programme and our own Grand Prix Ale it’s a day not to be missed.

To allow this fantastic event to go ahead, as usual, we rely on the support and help from the residents especially those on the circuit route.

As normal there will No Parking on the road or kerbs between 07.30 am and 20.00 pm on Sunday 20th September.

To help us set up, if possible, please can you move your cars the night before.

Roads close at 10.30 am sharp, and we encourage all vehicle movements as early as possible.

There will be a final public meeting at the Parish Room at 7.00 pm on Monday 14th September if you have any questions.

Thank you for your fantastic support. Any questions please contact Richard Stoodley on or 07836 762672.
